Anyone who gives you an exact figure without seeing the property is guessing, and the difference turns up later as an extra charge. Four things move the number:
A worked example. A typical 4-camera home comes to roughly ₹18,000–₹26,000 all-in — cameras, recorder, 1TB disk, cabling and fitting — before GST. Where you land in that range depends on resolution and cable runs. The survey confirms the exact figure.
What our quotes include: equipment, cabling, mounting, configuration, phone-app setup and handover. GST is charged separately at the applicable rate. Nothing is added after the fact.
The single biggest factor. A two-camera shop and a sixteen-camera society are different jobs.
Distance from the camera to the recorder, and whether casing can be concealed or has to be surface-run.
2MP is fine for most homes. Shops reading faces or number plates need more, and that costs more.
Seven days of footage needs a smaller disk than thirty. We size the drive to what you actually need.

You will see ₹8,000 for four cameras, or installation from ₹399. Those are real numbers — they're just not for the same thing. Here's what usually isn't in them.

We are not saying those quotes are dishonest — a fitting-only price is a perfectly normal way to sell labour. But add the cameras, a recorder, a disk, cabling and GST and you land in much the same place. When you compare us with anyone else, ask them for one all-in figure including GST, and ask who handles a warranty claim in month nine. That is the comparison worth making.
Nobody in this trade publishes this, which is why people are disappointed later. Better you know before you buy.
A 2MP camera identifies someone you already know at up to roughly 8–10 metres. Recognising a stranger from footage needs them closer, or a higher-resolution camera pointed at a doorway rather than a whole yard.
Only with a camera positioned for it — tight angle, close range, and usually a dedicated one. A general-view camera covering a gate will not read plates, whatever its resolution.
Roughly: 4 cameras at 2MP on a 1TB disk gives about 15–20 days before it overwrites. Double the cameras and you halve the days. If you need 30 days, you need a bigger disk — we'll size it at the survey.
If a system genuinely can't do what you need within your budget, we will tell you at the survey rather than after the invoice.
